We’re excited to announce the newest member of our team, Lisa Lance. As an Account Director, Lisa will lead strategy for client accounts, manage and mentor Abel staff and cultivate partnerships and new business opportunities.

Lisa brings 15+ years of diverse PR, marketing and advertising experience to our agency. Before joining our team, she developed public relations plans, messaging guidelines, digital and social campaigns and content marketing strategies for a wide variety of organizations, from local nonprofits to large corporations. Most recently, Lisa led the communications team for Vectorworks, a global software company that offers design solutions for the architecture, landscape and entertainment industries.

In previous roles, Lisa led public relations efforts for Baltimore Center Stage and has also worked at several PR and advertising agencies. A frequently published freelance writer with a master’s degree in writing from Johns Hopkins, Lisa’s strong storytelling skills and journalistic perspective will help create compelling editorial content for our clients.

As an agency invested in Baltimore, we love Lisa’s passion for promoting the city’s vibrant arts scene. She currently serves on the board of directors of CityLit Project and on the young professional engagement committee for Baltimore Center Stage.

When she’s not deepening relationships with clients or community members, Lisa enjoys practicing yoga, improving her culinary skills by trying out new recipes and reading to keep up with her book-buying habit. Her ideal weekend usually involves a trip to a local theater or art museum or an afternoon sailing on the Chesapeake Bay. Lisa lives in the Mt. Washington neighborhood with her husband and two rescue dogs.
